New Fixes in This Release

1.       Citrix Workspace App and Citrix Receiver for Windows sessions running on Version 1906.1 of the Virtual Delivery Agent can disconnect unexpectedly. The issue is limited to specific scenarios and connections from Windows clients. You can identify the issue in the Windows Event Log on the client device as shown in the following example:

Installing and Uninstalling this Release

 

To install this hotfix

 

 

Use the following steps to apply this hotfix:

1.       Log off all sessions running on the VDA.

 

2.       Perform the following steps according to the operating system of the VDA:

·         For 32-bit Desktop OS:

                Rename C:\Program Files\Citrix\ICAService\TwEncode.dll to TwEncode.bak.

                Copy Win32\TwEncode.dll from this package to C:\Program Files\Citrix\ICAService\.

·         For 64-bit Desktop OS:

                Rename C:\Program Files\Citrix\ICAService\TwEncode.dll to TwEncode.bak.

                Copy x64\TwEncode.dll from this package to C:\Program Files\Citrix\ICAService\.

·         For Server OS:

                Rename C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\System32\TwEncode.dll to TwEncode.bak.

                Copy x64\TwEncode.dll from this package to C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\System32\.

3.       Restart the VDA.

 

 

To uninstall this hotfix

 

 

Use the following steps to apply this hotfix:

1.       Log off all sessions running on the VDA.

2.       Perform the following steps according to the operating system of the VDA:

·         For 32-bit Desktop OS:

                Remove TwEncode.dll from C:\Program Files\Citrix\ICAService\.

Rename C:\Program Files\Citrix\ICAService\TwEncode.bak to TwEncode.dll.

·         For 64-bit Desktop OS:

                Remove TwEncode.dll from C:\Program Files\Citrix\ICAService\.

Rename C:\Program Files\Citrix\ICAService\TwEncode.bak to TwEncode.dll.

·         For Server OS:

                Remove TwEncode.dll from C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\System32\.

Rename C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\System32\TwEncode.bak to TwEncode.dll.

3.       Restart the VDA.
