• Unable to install a configuration package on a brand new branch appliance.
• Configuration package was created running version 9.3.3
• Branch appliance is running version 9.1.1 from factory
• When installing the configuration package on the branch via LCM (Local Change Management), the new configuration is not installed nor is the version upgraded.
• When trying to enable the VW Service it gets immediately disabled. The following error is displayed:
• The Citrix Virtual WAN Service is currently disabled.
• Registry versions are not compatible so the Virtual WAN service cannot run. You must manually update the configuration.
  
  

1. Re-image the appliance from “Configuration -> System Maintenance -> Update Software” by uploading cb-vw_CB410_9.3.3.21.tar.gz file.
   Refer to this page.
   

2.   Once the appliance is rei-maged to version 9.3.3.21 successfully, upload downloaded LCM configuration package of this branch (.zip package)

3. Complete the process of LCM (Local Change Management). Refer to this page for more details. 

4. After completing LCM (Local Change Management) enable VW service from Configuration  > Virtual WAN  > Enable/Disable/Purge Flows.
   

5. Path should come up between MCN and the site once VW service is enabled.
