Description
Need to reset the SSL listener certificate on XenMobile.
Scenario : After accidentally replacing the SSL Listener certificate with another certificate, we would be unable to access the XenMobile GUI. To gain access to the XenMobile GUI to replace the SSL certificate, we need to reset the SSL certificate.
Resolution
To be able to revert the certificate to the previous SSL Listener, the customer will need access to the XenMobile GUI.
[Note: Please take a backup of the XenMobile Server and the Database prior to making the below change.]To gain back access to the XenMobile GUI, follow the steps below to reset the SSL certificate.
- Go to [2] System Menu and Select [12] Advanced Settings
- From "Advanced Settings" select [4] Reset SSL Certificate.
Note: This option will reset the SSL Listener to self signed SSL listener certificate, similar to the one which gets generated during initial setup.
This will ensure that the administrator can access XenMobile GUI and replace the certificate with the correct SSL Listener.

Problem Cause
SSL certificate is overwritten by the CA server certificate which was uploaded by mistake after server reboot due to which the XenMobile Server was not accessible.
