When you launch the published apps in Japanese OS, the following “Restrictions Dialog” may appear if the policy of "Prevent access to drives from My Computer" enabled.

To resolve this issue, complete one of the following options:

Option 1

Execute wfica32.exe /localgenericime:off command on each client machine

Option 2

Add DisableGenericIME=1 into C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Citrix\YourStoreName\App_Data\default.ica on the StoreFront server.

In order to deliver new Generic IME experience and better support for soft keyboards for all APJ customers, Citrix Receiver implement new feature named "Citrix Generic Client IME" from version 4.7. And "Citrix Generic Client IME" requires VDA Version 7.13 as minimum system requirement.
 
"Citrix Generic Client IME" is going to load IME configuration and user data from client device and sync it to VDA server side, and Generic IME uses IME from the client device as opposed to the remote session:
 
- Additional IME choice
- Convenient on touch-enabled devices
- Enhances security
- Less configuration for admins
- Soft keyboard for Windows 10 and 8
 
Hence, if "Citrix Generic Client IME" is enabled, user profile data will be update by IcaIme binaries on VDA server side, it may cause the problem with customer's specific environment settings such as group policy "Prevent access to drives from My Computer".
