• With Limit Visibility configured, Application Launch might get stuck at welcome screen for 20-30 seconds before the published application launches successfully.

 

• From Xperf and Complete memory dump captured when the session launch is stuck for 20-25 seconds on "Welcome" screen you will find that the wait is on StackControlService, a.k.a. Scservice64.exe. 

 

• CDF Traces show a delay in validating published application.

A private fix LC8652 for StackToAgent64.dll (Citrix Stack Control service) is available for 7.15 LTSR.  You can reach out to Citrix Technical Support to get the Private fix for 7.15 LTSR environment.

Long term solution is to upgrade to 7.15 LTSR CU2 or 7.17 CR as they include the fix.
