VDA fails to install with error: "Installation of the ICA for Remote Desktop Services failed with error code 1603."
Event Viewer reports the following errors:

Event ID: 11402
Product: Citrix HDX TS (retail) -- Error 1402. Could not open the key: HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Citrix\Euem\LoggedEvents. System error 5. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.
Resolution
Grant Full Control to the local Administrators and to the local SYSTEM user groups on registry hive: "HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Citrix\Euem\LoggedEvents".
To grant Full Control:
- Right click on LoggedEvents registry hive located under HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Citrix\Euem.
- Select the Permissions... option from the menu.
- Select the local SYSTEM user group and enable the Full Control option below in the Permissions for Administrators section.
- Do the same for the local Administrators user group.
- Click Apply and OK.
Note: If the local Administrators and the local System user groups are not present in the list of Group or user names, proceed to add them and grant Full Control for both as explained above.
Problem Cause
Insufficient access to the registry hive "HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Citrix\Euem\LoggedEvents".
