Description
Installing VDA will fails with an error - port number must be between 0 and 65535 or failed to install VDAMonitor plugin.
Resolution
Follow below steps to workaround this problem:
->Install VDA by excluding telemetry service via command line
VDAWorkstationSetup_7.15.exe /quiet /noreboot /masterimage /Enable_HDX_PORTS /enable_framehawk_port /Enable_REAL_TIME_TRANSPORT /optimize /controllers " XDC server" /Exclude "Citrix Telemetry Service"
->Once confirmed VDA installation was successfull, Go to XA/XD ISO and Navigate to x64 -> virtual desktops agent -> telemetry.msi and execute telemetry.msi explicitly to install telemetry service
->Install VDA by excluding telemetry service via command line
