Symptoms or Error:
During the Site discovery process, the Cloud Connector communicates with the on-premises XenApp and XenDesktop Delivery Controller that you specify. As part of this process, Citrix Cloud contacts the specified Controller to determine its XML port and whether or not it uses SSL. Discovery also returns a complete list of the XML servers associated with the Site. Citrix Cloud uses the Controller’s XML Port and SSL configuration to validate the connectivity between Citrix Cloud and the discovered XML servers. If an XML server fails the connectivity test, it is not included in the list of available XML servers. If only one XML server passes the connectivity test, high availability cannot be achieved.

The summary page of the Site creation wizard lists the XML servers that were discovered and that   passed the connectivity test. The list also includes the XML port that was tested. If Citrix Cloud finds that only one discovered XML server in the list has passed the connectivity test, an error message is displayed.

Instructions

1. Ensure that a firewall is not preventing access to the port that the XML Service uses.
2. Verify that the Cloud Connector can access the XML port on the XML server.
3. Verify that the Citrix Broker Service is running on the XML server.
4. Verify that the Cloud Connector is reachable on the network.
5. Verify that the XML server is reachable on the network.
6. If the XML Service uses SSL, verify that the SSL port that the XML Service uses has a valid SSL certificate bound to it.
7. Restart any Citrix Cloud services in Windows if they are not running. Alternatively, restart the machine to restart all services automatically.
8. Check the Event Viewer for reasons why services are not running.
