Description
Randomly User login getting stuck at welcome screen or blank screen. It was observed that the WFSHELL is waiting for the Citrix print service and as soon as the wfshell process killed, the login proceeds and the user is presented with the desktop and the user is able to use the desktop without any issues.
Resolution
Disable the Printer Driver or Upgrade the Printer driver to the latest version.
Problem Cause
Konica Printer driver was causing the issue.
Issue/Introduction
It was observed that the WFSHELL is waiting for the Citrix print service and as soon as the wfshell process killed, the login proceeds and the user is presented with the desktop and the user is able to use the desktop without any issues.
