Description

This article describes how to configure NetScaler to allow fragmentation.

Instructions

By default NetScaler will send the do not fragment flag in the IP header.

Run the following commands from the CLI of the ADC

The following command will remove the DF flag:
> set network L3Param -dropDFFlag ENABLED

Use the following command to verify:
> show network L3Param

Output from show command:
Network L3 related Configuration Parameters

icmpgen_rate_threshold : 100
srcnat : ENABLED
override_rnat : DISABLED
drop_df_flag : ENABLED  (This is enough to validate that the Drop DF flag is set on ADC)

DISABLED is the default and will send DF flag
ENABLED will have NetScaler not send DF flag and allow fragmentation
