When publishing a third-party application, a text file with a list of items is created on the user device by using client drive mapping. If the text file to be written is located on the user device that already exists, then the original file is not overwritten and the new data appends to the existing data at the end of the file.

When you modify a text file that is located on a mapped client drive in a session, the ""ate Modified" property is not updated correctly.

With the client drive mapping setting "CacheTimeou"" set to "0" under the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\picadm\Parameters, Microsoft Excel files might get corrupted.
Note: Installing fix #LC5026 can invalidate fix #LC0288; this is by design.

When reading a file from a mapped client drive, the old, cached file length might be returned if the file length was changed outside of the client session. Additionally, null characters are inserted for any deleted characters.
To enable the fix, set the following registry value to "0":
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\picadm\Parameters
Name: CacheTimeout
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: Default value is 60 seconds. If CacheTimeOut is set to "0," the file length is reloaded immediately and if not it is loaded after the defined timeout.
