Description

Inside the vGPU Desktop, once moving the mouse cursor to the window range of the Standard Desktop, mouse cursor becomes invisible immediately but mouse clicking still takes effect.

Environment

Caution! Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that might require you to reinstall your operating system. Citrix cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk. Be sure to back up the registry before you edit it.

Resolution

  1. As a long-term solution, we recommend upgrading to vGPU Desktop to VDA 7.15 to fix the issue.
Note: XenApp and XenDesktop 7.15 is the latest LTSR version and provides updates to all baseline components of 7.6 LTSR and Citrix recommends that you update all LTSR components of your deployment to 7.15 LTSR. (From: https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/xenapp-and-xendesktop/7-15-ltsr.html)
  1. As a short-term solution, if using LTSR 7.6 deployment, add either of below registry in VDA 7.6 CU3 vGPU Desktop, then disconnect the session and reconnect to make the registry take effect.
  • Path: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Citrix\HDX3D\BitmapRemotingConfig

  • Data: 1
