Description
After installing PVS Server software, or upgrading from a previous version, the first time the server reboots it will not be able to boot successfully anyomre.
The server might present a Blue Screen with Error Code 0x7B INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE
Resolution
The following workaround can be used to overcome the issue.
- Before installing the PVS Software, uninstall the EMC Powerpath software from the server. Do not reboot after uninstallation
- Install the PVS Server Software. Do not reboot after installation
- Re-Install the EMC Powerpath software
- Reboot the server
