Using a NetProfile to Define the Source IP Used to Export Logs to Remote Syslog Servers

This article describes the process of syslog source IP configuration.


Instructions

In order to change the Source IP Address that is used to export logs to a remote syslog server, follow the steps below:

1. In the Netscaler GUI, go to System -> Auditing -> Syslog -> Servers:

2. Choose the Remote syslog server that is being used to export the logs, mark the tick box on the left and click Edit:

3. Find the Net Profile menu and click the + button:

4. Choose a name for the profile, select IP Address and choose the IP that you want to use and click OK:

5. Click OK and Done:

6. Click OK on the next page:

7. Your Netscaler is now using the IP you choose on the profile to export logs to a remote Syslog Server.

8. Save your configuration.
