Description

The user reports that some of his documents and files are not syncronised. After checking the missing folders or files types, it is found that they are of type symbolic (there are three type of symbolic links: hard links, junction links and directory links. Resolution

This is by design and expected. The current reason behind it is when copying a symbolic link, the source is copied rather than the link, which can lead to instances where gigabytes of data might be copied unwillingly.

During testing we established that some junction links synchronize, sometimes and hard and directory links never synchronized.

A product enhancement has been logged and it will be considered for future releases. If you require more information please speak to your Citrix representative.

Problem Cause

Not an issue, by design.
