Description

Users access a StoreURL and launch published IE from their Client machines. Then they use published IE and connect to another StoreURL from another farm to access another application. Majority but not all users get errors while launching the application.
Error: “Cannot start apps. Please run Reset Receiver to resolve a lockdown conflict for ClientHostedAppsShortcuts (error 2320)”

Caution! Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that might require you to reinstall your operating system. Citrix cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk. Be sure to back up the registry before you edit it.

Resolution

For impacted users,
delete the following registry key to allow default values to be created:
HKCU\Software\Citrix\ICA Client\Engine\Lockdown Profiles

To prevent the registry keys from being added to new profiles delete the following key from the servers:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Terminal Server\Install\Software\Citrix\ICA Client
