Description

After NetScaler is upgraded from build 11.1.53.13 or earlier to 11.1.54.14, the following message appears in NetScaler nslog file:
Command "login nsroot "********"" - Status "ERROR: Invalid username or password"

The messages continue until you log on to NetScaler GUI. After you are logged on to NetScaler GUI the messages stop immediately.

The messages are generated from NetScaler internal processes and Remote_IP as show in the following log snippet:

Resolution

These are just logging errors and has no impact on NetScaler traffic processing or any other traffic handling feature.

The issue will be fixed in an upcoming NetScaler build.

To workaround this issue, log on to NetScaler GUI once after upgrading the NetScaler to 11.1.54.14 build.

Problem Cause

This is caused by the nsrised daemon.
