Verify whether WEM Agent applied CPU Clamping policy


Instructions

  1. Enable WEM Agent debug log on Admin console or Agent side
  • Admin Console
Navigate to Advanced Settings->Agent Options->Agent Logs. Check "Debug Log" then apply the policy
  • Agent side
  1. The Norskale Agent Host Service Debug.log file will be written to %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Norskale\Norskale Agent Host
  2. Open the debug log with text editor such as Notepad or Wordpad and search for the following keyword(s):”CPU Clamping"
  • Here is the sample:
Agent Process Clamping Enabled: True
process Clamping list: cpueater|20
Agent Process Priority Enabled: False
Agent Process Affinity Enabled: False
Agent Process Io Priority Enabled: False
