Description

Users reported that they were unable to launch applications ffrom the Azure hosted virtual desktop agents. Upon further investigation via the Azure console it could be seen that the VDA's would power up and register but then power down again. They would then become stuck in a reboot cycle.

When looking at the events in Azure it could be seen the action was initiated by "XenApp Essentials".

Resolution

The cloud connectors were running Windows Server 2016. Installation of the MS hotfix KB4025339 from July 11 2017 resolved the issue.
