When trying to launch any HDX applications from iOS or Android devices below error message is displayed.
Error Message on iOS Devices:- Connection Error: Server Error; The Server disconnected the session.
Error Message on Android devices: Cannot Connect : Error Connecting to the session reliability Server. Error tunneling through the Proxy.
The possible reasons for the above error messages while launching any HDX apps from iOS/Android Secure Hub or Receiver could be.
1. StoreFront (XenApp/XenDesktop) STA server on Netscaler Gateway is either not configured or the status is Down. Login to NetScaler admin Console > NetScaler Gateway > Virtual Server > Select VPN Virtual Server used for XenMobile/HDX apps > STA Servers and make sure the StoreFront STA server status is UP. If STA server is not added please click on Add Binding and add the STA server.
Also verify if the STA server added in NetScaler Gateway return a AUTH ID (STA ID).
2. Make sure all the required firewall ports are enabled for HDX traffic both internal as well as externally.
Note: If you are using Cert+Domain authentication on NetScaler Gateway and if you have created another Gateway with custom port to route the HDX traffic please make sure the appropriate port is enabled.
3. If the issue still exist you can try changing the STA server URL in NetScaler Gateway from HTTPS to HTTP (i.e. 443 to 80) and see if that resolves the issue.
