Remote server session not synchronized with the keyboard layout set in the local client machine after XenApp/XenDesktop VDA v7.14 upgrade.

To resolve this issue, register the libraries “IcaImeVc”, “ImeMsgForwardProxy”, and “CtxIme” in VDA machines.
For VDA OS: Windows 2008R2, 2012R2, and 2016:

• Run cmd.exe with administrator privilege.
• Go to VDA installation directory " C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\System32"
  • Run the command "regsvr32 IcaImeVc.dll" to register IcaImeVc.dll
  • Run the command "regsvr32 ImeMsgForwardProxy.dll" to register ImeMsgForwardProxy.dll
  • Run the command "regsvr32 ImeMsgForwardProxy64.dll" to register ImeMsgForwardProxy64.dll
  • Run the command "regsvr32 CtxIme.dll" to register CtxIme.dll
  • Run the command "regsvr32 CtxIme64.dll" to register CtxIme64.dll For VDA OS: Windows 7, 8.1, and 10:

For VDA OS: Windows 7, 8.1, and 10:

• Go to VDA installation directory "C:\Program Files\Citrix\ICAService"
• For x86 OS
  • Run the command "regsvr32 IcaImeVc.dll" to register IcaImeVc.dll
  • Run the command "regsvr32 ImeMsgForwardProxy.dll" to register ImeMsgForwardProxy.dll
  • Run the command "regsvr32 CtxIme.dll" to register CtxIme.dll •
• For x64 OS:
  • Run the command "regsvr32 IcaImeVc.dll" to register IcaImeVc.dll
  • Run the command "regsvr32 ImeMsgForwardProxy.dll" to register ImeMsgForwardProxy.dll
  • Run the command "regsvr32 ImeMsgForwardProxy64.dll" to register ImeMsgForwardProxy64.dll
  • Run the command "regsvr32 CtxIme.dll" to register CtxIme.dll
  • Run the command "regsvr32 CtxIme64.dll" to register CtxIme64.dll
