VDA installation hangs at the prerequisite screen. Depending on your version of the VDA software, it should look similar to this:
Resolution
Install the "Media Foundation" feature before installing your VDA software.
Alternatively, you could also manually install the required prerequisites before beginning the VDA installation.
Note: If you are using Citrix App Layering, we recommend installing all of these additional server features on the OS Layer.

Problem Cause
"Media Foundation" feature is not installed on the serverIssue/Introduction
When installing the XenDesktop VDA, the installation may hang when installing the prerequisite software. Depending on your version of XenDesktop, this would normally occur at the "Installing prerequisites and components" screen.
