Instructions
Update a vDisk – Versioning Method
- In the Provisioning Services Console, right-click a Standard Mode vDisk, and click Versions.
- In the vDisk Versions window, click New
Ensure that the Access is set to Maintenance. Click Done. You will see a vdiskname.avhd file where the vDisk is stored
- Go to the properties of a Test Target Device, and change the Type to Maintenance. Make sure this Target Device is in maintenance mode in Citrix Studio if it's a part of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop
- Boot the Test Target Device
- Login to theTest Target Device and the Virtual Disk Status icon in the system tray will indicate that the vDisk Mode is now Read/Write.
- vDiks is booted in R/W mode and you can make any desired changes
- Power off the target device so the vDisk is no longer being used.
- Go back to the Versions window for the vDisk an highlight the version you just updated, and click Promote.
