Description

Currently using different levels of zoom or DPI in a multi-monitor ICA session setup is not supported. (Example: Thinclient with Monitor1 and Monitor2 attached. Monitor1 has DPI: 120% and Monitor2 has DPI: 100%)

Citrix is currently engaged with Microsoft to resolve this issue. Microsoft needs to implement a method to expose this information about screen settings to other applications, in this case Citrix. However, there is no time frame currently when this will be implement and released.

Behaviours observed when using different DPI or zoom levels:
- Application windows show strange behaviours like for example:  flickering, incorrect content, black or grey areas
- Desktop Viewer or seamless application window becomes unresponsive (Director might report the application in state "not responding")
- In niche scenarios application or OS crash might be observed

Recommendations:
- User education to avoid using different levels of zoom and DPI levels across different monitors.
