WEM Agent produces error saying - "An error occurred while building your environment. Agent processing will now stop."

Resolution

The following could be some reasons, in addition to others, for the above error:
  1. Check if Norskale Infrastructure service is started on the Broker.
  2. Check if Broker is listening on port  8286 & make sure you are able to telnet from Agent to broker on port 8286.
  3. Make sure that Norkale Infrastructure policy is configured & is getting applied to agent. This can be verified from below reg key on agent,
          HKLM\Software\Policies\Norskale\Agent Host.
       4. Extra spaces after the data is a known issue in 4.0-4.2, only applies to the ADMX, and is fixed in 4.3. You can use the ADM or manually delete the extra spaces as a workaround until the fixed ADMX template is available.
