This article describes how to view NetScaler SNMP trap details on NetScaler MAS.
Background
You can now view the details of each SNMP trap received from NetScaler instances to the NetScaler MAS server on the Event Settings page. For a specific trap received from your instance, you can view the following details in tabular format:- Category - Specifies the category of the instance to which the event belongs.
- Severity - Specifies the severity of the event. Event severity are displayed by color: Green, Amber, and Red to denote their severity.
- Description - Provides the messages associated with the event.
Instructions
To view SNMP trap details on NetScaler MAS:
1. Navigate to Networks > Events > Event Settings.
2. On the Event Settings page you also have the ability to adjust the Severity of the event (example below):
3. Select the designed event and select Configure Severity.
4. The Configure Event Severity page will be displayed.
5. In the Severity* dialog drop-down box select the desired Severity.
6. Click OK.
