This article describes how to customize the error messages for NetScaler Gateway EPA scans to provide more detailed information to the end users when their system fails EPA scans.

Instructions

Complete the following steps to customize the error messages for NetScaler Gateway Classic EPA scans to provide more detailed information to the end users when their system fails EPA scans:

NetScaler GUI

1. Navigate to NetScaler Gateway > Portal Themes > select the theme in use > Edit.

   

2. Scroll to the EPA Error Page and Post EPA Page section. Fill in the error title and description as shown in the following screen shot:
   Note: EPA Error Page is the page presented to the users after the EPA Plugin fails. Post EPA Page is presented while the EPA Plugin is performing post authentication scan.

   

3. The following the result of the preceding configuration:

Modify the following HTML files to include customized error messages:

• For pre-authentication scans - /var/netscaler/gui/epa/errorpage.html
• For post authentication scans - /var/netscaler/gui/epa/posterrorpage.html
