This article describes how to print from Secure Browser session.

Instructions

Many Secure Browser users want the ability to print their HTML or PDF content. As many of you may be aware, the HTML5 Receiver offers a feature called PDF printing. We leveraged the Citrix PDF printer in the Secure Browser VDAs in the cloud and enabled printing capabilities.

As an end user if you type in Ctrl+p or Cmd+p (on a Mac), you will see the print dialog screen pop-up within your Secure Browser session. Select the Citrix PDF printer, then print to download a PDF version of your content. The PDF file can then be printed to any printer of your choice.

Administrators have the ability to control which web apps have access to the print capabilities. After successfully publishing the web app, select the policies option for the app and enable printing as shown below:

Internal Apps and Printing

Internal apps likely are confidential and contain sensitive company information meant only for their employees. Administrators are encouraged to turn on the watermark feature for internal apps for security and confidentiality purposes. Secure Browser will recognize if the watermark policy has been enabled for a particular web app and the print capabilities are turned off automatically.
