Description

This tool helps to check an endpoint's capability to support Citrix HDX RealTime Optimization Pack (RTOP). It will list out endpoint hardware/software information which will be used to process audio and video. The tool is independent of RealTime Optimization Pack version and runs any Windows machine. 

Use the RealTime Optimization Pack Capability Checker to determine if:

• Your endpoint has support for Hardware Acceleration for H.264 Video encoding or decoding 
• Your camera has support for Hardware Acceleration for UVC 1.1 or UVC 1.5

Installing the RealTime Optimization Pack Capability Checker

Copy the tool to your endpoint.

How to use RealTime Optimization Pack Capability Checker

The Capability Checker tool runs on Windows endpoints only. You can execute by either double-clicking the .exe or running via command line.

Command line Syntax:

RTOP-CapabiityChk.exe [filename]

If you do not specify a filename, report will be displayed in a command window.

If filename is specified, report will be displayed in a command window and redirected to the file.
