After publishing an image with Elastic Layering enabled, when you try to connect to a session host, the layer doesn't show up and you get an error in the Application Log in Windows: "no elastic layer assignments were specified".

Check permissions on the file share. The elastic layer is connect to using the account of the first user who has access to it, so all your users need read access to the file share for elastic layers to work.

Where it says "Prerequisites: You must have Read/Write permissions on the network file share location," "You" means the end-user.
