Error XDDS:0DAA3833 when creating machines through MCS

Description
When attempting to provision machines using MCS, the Machine Creation process fails with the following error:
Error id: XDDS:0DAA3833 : An error occurred while preparing an image.
Resolution
Microsoft has documented a workaround that can be followed to overcome the issue on a per application basis.
