Restrict certain IPs who should not be able to access certain URLs when they hit the Load balancing virtual server on the NetScaler.

Instructions

We can make use of the Responder feature in order to accomplish this.

1. First, make sure that the Responder feature is enabled.
Right click on Responder under the AppExpert to enable it.




2. Configure the required Responder Policy as follow so that we could restrict the access based on the client Subnet and the URL that they access. Select the Responder action. In this case we have selected the action as Drop.

The Responder action can be configured to redirect to some other URL as well if needed.



Bind your responder policy to the respective vserver.
