"An error occurred creating the snapshot: 'System.InvalidOperationException: Cannot stop CitrixSubscriptionsStore service on computer '.'. ---> System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The service cannot accept control messages at this time" 

 

Try to manually stop the CitrixSubscriptionsStore service.
It will fail with error:


-Reboot the server.
-Once it comes up, wait for the CitrixSubscriptionsStore service to start (as it is set to Automatic delayed).
-Stop the CitrixSubscriptionsStore service.
-Start it again.
-Proceed with the upgrade, it would be successful now.
