Description
To activate Adobe Acrobat XI on MCS created VMs.
Instructions
The volume license must be registered on the Master Image by using a command-line tool called "Provisioning Toolkit Enterprise" from Adobe. This tool generates an XML file which links to the master image and activates the VMs created out of it. To generate the XML file, run the following command from a machine that has access to internet:
adobe_prtk --tool=VolumeSerialize --generate --serial=<serialnum> [--leid=<LEID>] [--regsuppress=ss] [--eulasuppress]
[--locales=limited list of locales
in
xx_XX
format
or ALL>] [--provfile=<Absolute path to prov.xml>] [--stream]

After running this command, an XML file called prov.xml is generated. Copy this file over to the master image and execute the following command:
adobe_prtk --tool=VolumeSerialize [--provfile=<Absolute path to prov.xml>] [--stream]
Once this is activated, open Adobe Acrobat and validate if the product is licensed. If yes, shutdown the VM and use it as a master image to create machines using MCS/PVS.
