Description

Citrix Studio might give you following error on a machine where Delivery Controller and Virtual Delivery Agent both installed.

  • Failed to locate Customer Experience Improvement Program configuration file. Registry key 'Software\Citrix\Citrix Desktop Delivery Controller\Configuration Data' not found
  • Failed to locate the Feature Table. Registry key 'Software\Citrix\Citrix Desktop Delivery Controller\Configuration Data' not found

Resolution

Step 1. Export the following registry to a .reg file
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Citrix\Citrix Desktop Delivery Controller

Step 2. Open the exported .reg file using Notepad and remove "Wow6432Node\" from each registry path and save the file.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Citrix\Citrix Desktop Delivery Controller
 
Step 3. Double click on the registry file to marge.

Step 4. Close Citrix Studio and re-open.

Problem Cause

Uninstall process of  Virtual Delivery Agent from the machine also delete following registry.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\Citrix Desktop Delivery Controller
