Description

When running the New Database Creation Wizard on the Workspace Environment Management (WEM) Infrastructure Services server, the administrator encounters the following error:
"Database Creation Error!"

Database Creation Error

A database is partially created on the SQL server, without any tables. 
WEM Database no tables

The Citrix Workspace Environment Management Database Management Utility Log file in the Citrix Workspace Environment Management Infrastructure Services installation directory has an event logged similar to the following:

Changed database context to 'WEM'.

Resolution

A different Administrator account (i.e. not the same account as used for the Broker Service Account) should be used to run the Database Management Utility to create the new database. 

Problem Cause

The account used by the administrator to open the Database Management Utility was already used as the Broker Service Account.

The Broker Service Account already has an SQL Login as part of the database creation. 

Issue/Introduction

Administrators encounter an error when creating a new database for Workspace Environment Management, if they use the same account as the Broker Service Account.
