Q: I see that LTSR Cumulative Update 2 is now out only six months after Cumulative Update 1. Maybe this question has been answered somewhere but I couldn't find anything in any of the documentation - is an organization expected to be fully updated on these Cumulative Updates in order to be LTSR-compliant, or is Citrix going to continue supporting LTSR base, LTSR CU1, LTSR CU2, 3, 4+? Doesn't it defeat the purpose of the LTSR program if Citrix is still putting out a required update every six months that has to be installed to get support?
A: You do not need to be on the latest CU to receive support. However, you will need to upgrade to the latest CU to receive maintenance (fixes). Citrix might need you to confirm that issues you are experiencing are reproducible with the latest CU.
