This article explains how to set folder redirection using "Group policy Management".


Instructions

  1. Start "Group policy Management" as shown in the following screenshot:

  2. Edit target OU's GPO as shown in the following screenshot:

  3. For example,  set "desktop" folder redirection. Refer to the following screenshot, right click and choose "Properties".

  4. Then "Target",set "setting" ,"Security Group Membership" ,"Target Folder Location"
    "root path " as shown.

Tips:

DORIS\casetest 
This is the "Group" name you created.
Root Path:
You must specify a network location which user has the permission to full access.
And you also need to add "%USERNAME%" to your " network path" as 
\\DORISDC01\test\%USERNAME%---> \\DORISDC01\test is the network path.
If you do not add "%USERNAME%" ,user will fail to create profile under the network path with 
event id:502( 0x80001219)
