Description

When you have to RMA the power supply for NetScaler devices, use the following information to determine AC vs DC power supply.

Note: The following images are just an example of the power supply of 450W and the power supply may look different for other modules.

AC PSU
  • 99%+ of the units ship with AC PSUs.
  • The input connector where cable is attached, is standard 3 prong type used for computer equipment.
  • Label on PSU will state “input” at 100-240 VAC (volts AC).

DC PSU

  • Input connector is not something you will see standard in most applications (this may look different on different wattage PSUs, but something similar to what you see in the following picture).
  • Label on PSU with state “input” at -40 to -60Vdc (volts dc).
