BNIStack failed, network stack could not be initialized. Error code 0x00007E.
Resolution
Investigating the NIC settings it was noticed that there was a few extra settings configured, specifically
1. Microsoft Wake-up Proxy Driver.
2. Microsoft Wake-up Protocol Driver.
These are installed when the master image is running the SCCM client software so that the Wake On LAN feature can be used. More information here - https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh427330.aspx.

Disabling these 2 options allowed the VM to boot successfully from the NIC and proceed with image capture.
Problem Cause
Wake On LAN feature interfering with BNIStack and preventing the network boot. Microsoft does not support this feature on a guest OS running on a virtual machine.
