Unable to send test message/email using Director 7.8

Description
On sending a test message using Director, we do not see any error message come up but we never receive the email
Resolution
If the authentication for SMTP server is IP-based, configure SMTP permissions for Delivery Controllers as Director leverages the DDC to send test message and not the server on which Director component is installed.
In case of IP-based permissions, we can set the value to NO in the field 'Does SMTP server require authentication' and we would not need a username and password
