 Radius Authentication dashboard Status shows "Down. Invalid Authentication Parameters"

However authentication works if same server bound to Netscaler gateway vserver.
Also was verified that Radius Server was reachable creating a monitoring service pointing to port 1812, the service was showing UP, take also in consideration that the error above is not a Time Out error, it means that the server is reachable but the parameters are not right.  

RADIUS Secret key contains "Special Character" 



 

Resolution

Upgrade Netscaler to NS 11.0-66.11nc as its a know issue in NS 11.0-64.34nc 

Radius Authentication dashboard Status shows "Down. Invalid Authentication Parameters" when RADIUS Secret key contains "Special Character" 

After changing the secret key of the Radius Server removing the special Characters the Radius Server showed UP.
