Description

The XenMobile Engineering Team has identified a known issue affecting only customers in MAM-only environments (MDM-only and XME customers are not affected). When an iOS device enrolls in a MAM only environment, the iOS version is not being updated following iOS upgrades. This issue will appear during application upgrades as the minimum iOS version will be higher than what it is stored by XenMobile Server in the database for each device.
 
 
End users who experience this issue will not see 10.3.10 XenMobile and enterprise apps wrapped using MDX 10.3.10, displayed in the Store. Also, users who attempt to launch the app from the iOS springboard would be shown an “App Not Available” error message.
 

Resolution

Mitigation Steps/Workaround
                          
We have identified the following mitigation steps/workaround that can be used to allow iOS devices to update applications successfully from the Store.
  1. In the XenMobile Console navigate to Configure tab then Apps tab.
  2. Select the MDX application that you are deploying to iOS devices and choose edit
Browse to the iOS MDX settings and locate Minimum OS version (the latest 10.3.10 applications default to version 9)
