XenDesktop 7.9: The XenDesktop upgrade from 7.8 to 7.9 is failing.

MSI Log Error:

08:48:56.8776 $ERR$ : XenDesktopSetup:Failed to configure component 'Broker Service'. Config tool 'C:\Program Files\Citrix\Broker\Service\BrokerService.exe' failed on initialization with error code -1.

08:48:56.8776 $ERR$ : XenDesktopSetup:Recording installation failure. Config tool 'C:\Program Files\Citrix\Broker\Service\BrokerService.exe' failed on initialization with error code -1.

Stopped the Broker Service and renamed the brokerservice.exe.config file before running the upgrade.

Problem Cause

Unable to stop the broker service to reconfigure the config file for it.
