XenMobile: Troubleshooting a 3rd Party Wrapped App
               

  1. Test with the core .ipa or .apk file.Does the core file work without being wrapped?  If yes go to #2.
 
  1. Do other wrapped application works as expected?  If yes go to #3.
 
  1. Wrap with the latest toolkit found at: https://www.citrix.com/downloads/xenmobile/product-software/mdx-toolkit.html and note the time/date that you wrapped it.
 
  1. From the Mac where the app was wrapped collect the MDX Toolkit logs: Applications > Citrix > MDXToolkit > Logs > Citrix.log
 
  1. Set the Secure Hub logs for the affected application to Debug Level 15.  (Refer to CTX215256)
 
  1. Reproduce the issue and note the time/date stamp and username.  Clearly document step by step what you are doing and the incorrect behavior.  A video or screenshots is beneficial.
 
  1. Collect the Secure Hub logs for the affected app.
 
  1. For iOS devices, collect the xCode logs.  (Refer to CTX215217)
 
  1. For Android devices, collect the .adb logs.  (Refer to https://www.citrix.com/blogs/2015/06/02/mobility-experts-how-to-collect-android-device-logs-for-troubleshooting-xenmobile-issues/)
 
  1. Upload MDX Toolkit, Secure Hub, and xCode/.adb logs to CIS.Citrix.com
 
  1. Send an e-mail to the case providing:
    • Name of the affected application.
    • Time/date stamp of app wrapping (#2 above)
    • Username used to reproduce the behavior (#5 above)
    • Time/date stamp of when the issue was reproduced (#5 above)
