Description

While using a single FQDN for internal/external access, the beacon detection fails on Citrix Receiver until it is closed and opened again to detect what connection is available.

Environment

Citrix cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk. Be sure to back up the registry before you edit it.

Resolution

For 64 bit machines: HKLM\Software\Wow6432node\Citrix\Dazzle
For 32 bit machines: HKLM\Software\Citrix\Dazzle
Create the below key (right-click on the right hand side pane >> New >> String Value):
Name: ReEvaluateNetwork
Type: REG_SZ
Value: True

Note: After applying the registry setting - the end-user must then manually refresh the Citrix Workspace app to update the network details.
