Description
Applications slow to enumerate applications to the desktop/start menu.
Resolution
The SelfService process takes 1-2 seconds to create each icon on to the Desktop/Start Menu. This is expected behavior. SelfSevice is meant to allow the user to subscribe to the applications at will. In previous versions of Receiver, like 3.x, this was not the case. All applications would be added instantly.
In scenarios where customers want to show 400 shortcuts on a users desktop, inside of a folder, it will take for example 14 minutes to show all icons on the users desktop folder. (This is an example).
Problem Cause
Expected behavior in 4.x with the SelfService Process.
