Description
Set Instance parameters XXXXX (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) Error: Error in retrieving SR Operation failed Error: Deleting the VM XXXXX as there is error in setting VPX properties, Exception: Error in retrieving SR.
Resolution
Provision new instance with less RAM. Also, is needed it may be recommended that the existing instances to be changed to lower amount of RAM.
The SR space is allocated as follows:If VPX is allocated RAM <= 4 GB then only a 20 GB primary disk is allocated to the VPX.
In case VPX is allocated RAM > 4GB then an additional disk is allocated to the VPX whose size depends on the following:
RAM <= 4GB, second disk size = 0GB
RAM <= 10GB, second disk size = 42GB
RAM > 10GB, second disk size = 80GB
Problem Cause
Unable to provision new instance due to lack of available storage on SR.
