Description

Installing new certificate gets error:
 

Notification 
Unable to establish certificate chain from the uploaded certificate. First 
install root certificate second intermediate certificates (if available), and 
finally install issued certificate 

Using the Wizard to Import Certificates

Certificate was created by enterprise CA in house.

Verified process and error appeared:

Checked the Cert Paths for all 3 certs.
Found that 2 cert files seemed to be copies.

There was no certificate for the Root of the Cert path.
Opened the intermediate cert and opened the root cert from the cert path. 
Went to Details and copied the cert to a file named Root.crt

Ran the Cert export wizard:

Renamed the file to remove the CER extension leaving only the crt file type.

Resolution

Exported the root cert to a file and installed it to the correct location.

Problem Cause

Cert was not provided for the root of the certification path.
