• You cannot launch a published desktop because no licenses are available:

• The XenDesktop Controller  displays event 1163:

1. Provided a new startup license file that was imported into the folder.

 

2. Restarted the Licensing Services on the License Server
3. Alternative to this is to reinstall the licensing server which will automatically update the startup license.

Problem Cause

The Startup license file was missing on the Licensing folder of the License server (c:\program files (x86)\Citrix\Licensing\My Files).
